Overview
Bamboo Collage is the second original studio album released by Japanese punk/rock singer Hitomi Takahashi. The album came out more than a month after the release of the 8th single, "Tsuyoku Nare", and more than a year and a half after her debut album "sympathy". The album contains a total of six new songs - the other seven already released on five singles released for album promotion. As singles were released for this album, all songs were produced by Takuya, while music and lyrics were written by punk/rock artists like shogo.k from 175R and Maeda and Yamamoto from GagagaSP.
Unlike his debut album, almost every song in Bamboo Collage fell in the punk/rock genre, while containing only one true ballad song. The album even contains a ska genre in the song "Breakthrough" - a genre that Takahashi had never tried before. The "KoÃ, Â · moÃ, Â · reÃ, Â · bi" versions appearing on the album are modified so that the ballad is no longer the first song, but now the punk/rock version to match the rest of the album.
