RLV (Radha Lakshmi Vilasam) College of Music and Fine Arts is an institution located in King Nagari Tripunithura, in Ernakulam District, in the state of Kerala, India. Graduate and postgraduate programs are offered at the Faculty of Music, Performing Arts and Visual Arts. The institute is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. History
The college begins in a single apartment belonging to the Royal Cochin family.
Then King Cochin, H.H. Sri. Kerala Varma Mitukkan Thampuran and his wife Smt. Lakshmikutty Nethyaramma invites sewing, kaikottikkali, and painting experts to provide learning to older girls and women. This business developed into an institution on behalf of the daughter of King Radha and Lakshmi's wife and was named 'Radha Lakshmi Vilasam Academy' which incorporated vocal music as well.
In 1956, the agency was controlled by the Kerala government and renamed the Academy of Music and Arts RLV. Diploma and Post-Diploma Programs in vocal music, Bharathanatyam, Kathakali, and paintings begin.
In 1998, the institute was affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottyam and the Diploma and Post-Diploma Program was restructured as a degree and postgraduate program.
