Thomas Stanley Holland (born June 1, 1996) is an English actor and dancer. He is best known for playing Spider-Man in the movie Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Captain America: Civil War 2016, Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), and > Avengers: Infinity War (2018).
Holland had previously appeared on stage in the title role of Billy Elliot the Musical at West End London. Other major films include The Impossible (2012), In The Sea of ​​Life (2015), and The Lost City of Z (2016)). The Netherlands received the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2017.

Early life and education
Holland was born in Kingston upon Thames, London, to Nicola Elizabeth (nÃÆ' Â © e Frost), a photographer, and Dominic Holland, a comedian and writer. He has three brothers. His paternal grandmother was born in the Isle of Man and Tipperary, Ireland.

Holland started dancing in hip hop classes at Nifty Feet Dance School in Wimbledon. His potential was seen by the choreographer Lynne Page (who was a partner for Peter Darling, choreographer of Billy Elliot and Billy Elliot the Musical when he performed with dance school as part of the Richmond Dance Festival 2006.

Personal life
The Netherlands lives in the London neighborhood of Kingston upon Thames, near the home of his parents and younger brother. He has a dog named Tessa. When he was seven years old, the Netherlands was diagnosed with dyslexia. Holland is a supporter of English football club Arsenal and also practicing gymnastics.
Together with his three siblings, Holland sponsored The Brothers Trust, a UK registered charity that raised money for various charities.
