Christopher James Hogan (born October 24, 1987) is a widespread recipient of American football for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He plays football at Monmouth University. Before his soccer career, he played intercontinental lacrosse at Penn State.

Before his tenure with Bill, he was signed by the San Francisco 49ers, the New York Giants, and the Miami Dolphins, but was released by each team before the regular season. After four seasons with Bills, Hogan signed a three-year contract with the Patriots. In 2017, Hogan helped the team win the Super Bowl LI over the Atlanta Falcons.
During his tenure with Dolphins, Hogan appeared prominently in the 2012 HBO's Hard Knocks season after Reggie Bush dubbed him "7-Eleven" because he was "always open".

He started all 13 games in 2007, scoring 11 goals, but appeared in just three games as a sophomore due to a high ankle sprain. In 2009, Hogan had 29 goals on 133 shots and was given the first team name of All-ECAC and the captain was elected for his senior season. He graduated in 2010 with a one year college degree of college sports college.
Monmouth
Taking advantage of the college's remaining college years after an ankle injury of 2008, Hogan chose to enroll at Monmouth University to play football for the Hawks. He immediately secured the spot as a recipient, and also played in cornerback because of injury in the secondary, and in all special team units. He completed his one-year college football career with 12 receptions for 147 yards and three on offense, and 28 tackles and three interception on defense.
Professional career
Beyond its speed, Hogan is also famous for its strength as a wide receiver. On Pro Day 2011, Hogan pumped 28 reps from 225 pounds on the bench press. Hundreds of recipients have participated in the NFL merge since 2011, and none match Hogan's total on the bench.

New England Patriots (2016 -)
season 2016
On March 10, 2016, Hogan, a limited free agent, signed a three-year offer with New England Patriots for $ 12 million, with a $ 7.5 million bail. The contract is loaded up front ($ 5.5 million in 2016) to complicate the bill to be matched. This was when head coach Bill Belichick saw the enormous potential that described Hogan as an extraordinary athletic "burner". On March 11, the bill refused to match the bid sheet, not receiving draft compensation due to their original one year minimum wage payment.
During the Week 1 game against Arizona Cardinals on NBC Sunday Night Football, Hogan scored his first goal of the season for the Patriots with a 37-yard bait from quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. In the Patriots' 5th Week match against Cleveland Browns, Hogan has a career-high of 114 receiving yard, this time with Tom Brady as his quarterback. At week 12, against the New York Jets, Hogan became the third wide Patriots receiver in many seasons to try to graduate; while Hogan's left-hand pass was incomplete, it drew the penalty of 31-yard defensive intervention. He also passed his previous best career to receive a yard in a season with 461 yards at 21 receptions (20.1 yards per catch, then trailing only injured team mate Rob Gronkowski to lead the NFL at 21.6). On Sunday 14th, on Monday Night Football he earned an 79-yard touchdown pass against the Baltimore Ravens, the longest in his career (and the seventh in the NFL until Sunday 14), part of the other career-best 129 yards at five receptions. He ended the season with 38 receptions for 680 yards and 4 touchdowns; 17.89 yards per catch was second after DeSean Jackson 17.95. In the postseason, Hogan has 4 receptions for 95 yards in victory over Houston, followed by nine receptions for 180 yards and two goals in the AFC Championship win over Pittsburgh. It is the highest career in all three categories, and the Patriot playoff record to receive the meter in one game. On February 5, 2017, Hogan was part of the Patriot team that won the Super Bowl LI. In the game, he has four receptions for 57 yards when Patriot beat the Atlanta Falcons by a score of 34-28 in extra time.
2017 seasons
In Week 2, against the Saints of New Orleans, Hogan has five receptions for 78 yards and his first goal of the 2017 season. In addition, he recovered an onside kick in the fourth quarter. In 2017, Hogan set his best career in touchdown in a season after just five games, scoring five goals in that span. On October 29, against the Los Angeles Carrier, Hogan injured his right shoulder and had to miss several matches. On December 11, he returned and recorded a reception for five yards in a 27-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football. Hogan helped the Patriots reach the Super Bowl for the second season in a row after beating both Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars in the playoffs. At Super Bowl LII, Hogan recorded 6 catches for 128 yards and scored and brought one carry for 4 yards. The Patriots lost to the Philadelphia Eagles with a score of 41-33.
